Melanie Lacy
Thanks for stopping by to see my give page. Prior to my stroke, I had started planning to work in the Holy Land on a longer term basis. I have been working with Seeds of Hope on a short-term basis for about six, but began to feel a calling to invest more time to increase the impact of what they are already doing so brilliantly.
After my stroke, I was unable to walk or care for myself, having everything I “DO” stripped away from me, I really struggled with what my purpose could be beyond attaining superficial goals one after the other, all with minimal consequence or impact.
I began to realize how many people live without knowing their intrinsic worth or dignity. Stroke recovery has added a higher level of passion and a much clearer understanding towards my intended projects aimed at providing hope to both women and those thriving with a disability living in the Holy Land. Thank you for your support, both financially and through prayer. I am looking forward to starting this new journey.
