Fill out our online application, which includes the following:
- Application fee - $95
- References to submit
- Statement of Faith & Code of Conduct to sign
- Background check
- Personality Assessments
- We'll set up a phone call to discuss your interest.
- After an initial 30-min. interview with an IDEAS team member, we'll discern together next steps.
- Next, you'll be connected with a mentor to walk with you through the process.

Finally, you'll have interviews with IDEAS leadership.
Prepare

Once you've gone through the application process, you'll receive an endorsement letter to become an IDEAS Associate!
- Together, we'll create your job description.
- Then, we'll establish your budget, and you'll begin partnership development.
- Attending orientation is a crucial step in learning the values of IDEAS and becoming part of the community.

Also in this phase, you'll begin cross-cultural training.
Join Your Team
- When all the necessary preparations have been made, including reaching your budget, it's time to buy plane tickets!
- Once you arrive in your assignment location, the IDEAS team will help you get settled and assist you with whatever else you need for your living situation.
- You'll have on-field orientation with your team and be introduced to the Program work you'll be doing.
