Guatemala Vision Trip
Thank you for joining us on the RetailROI Guatemala trip! We're looking forward to working with you to bring life-changing hope to children with disabilities & their families!
Participants will arrive in Guatemala on August 20th (Wednesday), and depart August 26th (Tuesday).
By participating in IDEAS community development program in Guatemala, you will help change the entire trajectory of 15-20 children’s lives by providing supplies, assistance, & care for them & their families as they become mobile for the first time!
Through IDEAS mobile clinics, these children will receive their first customized wheelchair, which will allow them & their families to engage fully in their communities, and the freedom to go to school & work.
The mobile clinics include assessments for medical & equipment needs, provision of customized wheelchairs, connection to community resources, and training for medical & wheelchair care. We will explore rural and indigenous areas of Guatemala and visit IDEAS community development partners. During this trip you will also get to experience the UNESCO World Heritage site, Antigua, Guatemala.
Youth 14+ are welcome on this trip.
