Malawi Flood Response
On March 11, Cyclone Freddy began its destructive path over Malawi, where IDEAS partners
with Brother's Keeper, a residential training and educational program that serves homeless youth. Some of the cyclone's worst damage has impacted impoverished settlements, resulting in the deaths of more than 200 people and more than 19,000 left homeless.
We are working with local partners to provide disaster relief to those impacted by the cyclone by meeting immediate needs and housing resources.
Your gift today will help rebuild hope by providing tents, tarps, blankets, clothes, food, water, and emotional and spiritual support as the community regains strength and courage to move forward from this disaster.
Please pray with us for the broken-hearted and for the ones who have lost homes and watched their loved ones be swept away, for those who are still searching and looking, and for those still trapped.
Thank you for walking alongside our brothers and sisters in Malawi,
Ron Willett, Brother's Keeper Liaison
