Morocco Earthquake Response
On September 8th, a massive earthquake devastated the Al Haouz province in Morocco and
surrounding villages and cities, resulting in the loss of thousands of lives, and thousands more injured, homeless, and unaccounted for.
As relief workers continue to uncover those buried by the rubble and address the needs of those who are grieving and traumatized, these workers are asking for mental health services that IDEAS associates are prepared to provide.
IDEAS is uniquely equipped to offer trauma care and address physical and mental health needs through local IDEAS associates on the ground in Morocco.
IDEAS associates in Morocco have organized a safe location not far from the affected areas for relief workers to receive respite, including trauma debriefing and counseling.
Please pray with us for the broken-hearted, for the ones who have lost homes and loved ones, for those who are still searching, and for those still trapped.
